Who can receive assistance from Mom2Mom?
Any family living in Virginia who meets our eligibility requirements and is able to visit our Culpeper office may receive assistance. We serve families from Culpeper, Orange, Madison, Fauquier, and beyond.
What do I need to bring to receive assistance?
Please bring:

Your child's birth certificate or birth letter

Eligible families may receive assistance up to two times per month.
Do I need an appointment?
No appointment is needed during our regular office hours. We recommend checking our Facebook page before visiting for the most current hours and updates.
What items can I receive?

How much assistance can I receive?
Mom2Mom is a supplemental support program and is not intended to provide a family's full monthly supply. Items are distributed based on availability and household need.
What ages do you serve?

Formula: Birth to 12 months

Diapers: Birth to age 3

Pull-Ups: Ages 3–5
Children with special needs may qualify beyond these age guidelines.
My child has a disability or special need. Do they still qualify?
Yes. We understand that some children may need diapers, pull-ups, or formula beyond typical age guidelines. We do not require medical records or a diagnosis—only that a special need exists.
I'm pregnant. Can I receive assistance?
Yes. Once you are 36 weeks pregnant, you may receive diapers and wipes for your baby. Please bring:

Proof of public assistance (see accepted documentation above)

An ultrasound with your name on it, or

A doctor's note verifying your pregnancy Can I choose the diaper size I need?
We do our best to provide the size requested, but inventory varies based on donations and
availability.
Can I request a specific formula?
We will do our best to meet your baby's needs, but specific formulas cannot be guaranteed due to supply and funding limitations.
Do you offer delivery services?
No. Mom2Mom does not offer delivery services. To receive assistance, you must be able to visit our Culpeper office during office hours or have someone pick up items on your behalf.
If another person will be picking up for you, please contact us by email so a volunteer can verify your eligibility and approve the pickup.
What if I don't have transportation?
If you are unable to visit our office, you may authorize another adult to pick up items on your behalf. Please email us in advance so a volunteer can verify your eligibility and make the necessary arrangements.
Can both parents receive assistance for the same child?
No. Assistance is limited to one household per child. If another parent or caregiver is already receiving assistance for the child, additional documentation may be required.
What if I don't qualify?
Even if you do not qualify for assistance through Mom2Mom, we may be able to connect you with other local resources. You can also contact 2-1-1 or your local Department of Social Services for additional support.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. All information shared with Mom2Mom is kept confidential and used only to determine eligibility and provide services.

Does Mom2Mom have a safety policy?
Yes. Mom2Mom is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for all families, volunteers, staff, and community members.
To help ensure the safety of children and families, individuals who are registered sex offenders or who have been convicted of offenses involving the abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of children are not permitted in the Mom2Mom office or at Mom2Mom-sponsored events.
Mom2Mom reserves the right to restrict or deny access to its facilities, programs, events, and services when an individual's presence may pose a safety concern for clients, volunteers, staff, or community members.
When appropriate, alternative arrangements may be available to allow eligible families to receive assistance through an approved third-party pickup person.
Does Mom2Mom have a non-discrimination policy?
Yes. Mom2Mom provides services without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, ethnicity, age, sex, pregnancy, disability, religion, veteran status, marital status, family structure, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.
